Founded by the Hoff Brothers in 1949, Comet Industries has over fifty years
of experience manufacturing quality clutches, torque converters, brakes,
and other components for industrial and commercial applications, including snowmobiles, go-karts, golf carts and recreational vehicles. In
1993 Comet was acquired by Tenax Industries. Ownership may have changed,
but Comet's dedication to quality has not diminished.

Assurance Program including SPC (Statistical Process Control) and JIT assures
you of professional criteria with standards nothing less than excellent.

There are two worksheets that you can use to identify your application and requirements. Please identify your application and requirements by using either the Industrial & Centrifugal Clutch worksheet or the Vehicle Data for Torque Converters & Clutches worksheet. After you've entered the data it will be sent to us via e-mail for future evaluation. Remember, Comet Industries can design, prototype and test your power equipment components.
